LENs Yorkshire Seeks a Senior Programme Manager to join the team
News Release
We have an ideal opportunity for a programme manager with experience of working in the natural capital, ecosystem services and/or environmental sector to join one of regenerative agriculture’s most dynamic programmes.
LENs Yorkshire is recruiting a Senior Programme Manager. The Manager, who will be based in the area or willing to move there, will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the regional LENs programme in Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, which is now in its second year. They will build the networks and relationships that are vital to its success. Crucially, they will help to ensure that the trades that take place are financially and technically sound, delivering real private-sector investment into nature-based solutions and regenerative agriculture.
Is this you?
Our Senior Programme Manager will have outstanding networking and stakeholder management skills and experience. You will be used to working with diverse groups including global corporate private sector businesses, government agencies, public bodies, regional companies and local farmers. Your excellent convening skills will drive decision-orientated meetings and workshops. And with your ability to manage projects, you will work with multiple stakeholders to tightly-defined deadlines. Strong experience in the land sector will help you succeed in this role, with particular expertise in agriculture and land management, ecology and ecosystem services, and nature-based solutions.
What you’ll be doing
You will lead and manage the LENs Yorkshire programme, being an ambassador for LENs and 3Keel. You will work with LENs Yorkshire CIC Board to ensure clear and transparent governance of the LENs.
An important part of the role is your ability to build relationships. You will identify new demand-side partners and work with them to engage with and get involved in LENs. And just as importantly, you will work closely with farmers and other landholders, as well as organisations that help to pool the supply of projects & measures; to understand risks; and identify nature-based solutions to help mitigate those risks.
If you have a passion for finding solutions to complex sustainability problems, then we would love you to explore this opportunity. Full details of the job & its requirements, the application process, and the benefits we offer are on 3Keel’s website. We are a friendly team of individuals from many walks of life, all constantly striving for excellence and committed to making a difference in sustainability – and having fun along the way!
